PSL’s ‘Platinum’ Players Mustafizur Rahman.

Foreign star cricketers have signed up for the upcoming Pakistan Super League. Twenty-five platinum cricketers will be picked in the draft on January 10 in Lahore, Pakistan.

According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board today, Chris Gayle, Rashid Khan, Dale Steyn, Mustafizur Rahman, and many others are in the platinum category of PSL.

Rashid Khan, the ICC T20 Player of the Decade, will be the main focus of the six PSL franchises. West Indies’ Chris Gayle has done well in the last IPL. Gayle also has experience of playing in PSL before.

He played PSL for Karachi Kings and Lahore Calenders. David Malan, the No. 1 batsman in the ICC T20 rankings, is also in the PSL draft. He last played for Islamabad United in the PSL.

Australia’s Chris Lynn, West Indies’ Dwayne Bravo, Carlos Brafet, Lendon Simmons, and Evin Lewis are also in the platinum category.

Two South Africans, Morne Morkel, and Van der Dussen, have signed for the PSL draft for the first time. Imran Tahir, Colin Ingram, Riley Russo, and Dale Steyn also want to play in the PSL.

Along with Malan, England’s Alex Hales, Moin Ali, Chris Jordan, and Tom Benton are in the draft. In addition to Rashid, two Afghans, Mujib Ur Rahman and Mohammad Nabi have been placed in the Platinum category.

Sri Lanka’s Thisara Perera and Isuru Udana are also in the same category. Mustafiz of Bangladesh and Sandwip Lamichane of Nepal have been included in the draft. Both have previously played for the Lahore Calendars in the PSL.

It depends on the BCB whether Mustafiz will play in the PSL even if he gets a team from the draft.

Bangladesh is scheduled to tour New Zealand after the West Indies series at home. Bangladesh has ODI and T20 series there. Mustafiz is an essential member of the Bangladesh team in white-ball

cricket.

PSL officials also understand that it will be difficult to find a cricketer due to Corona and the national team schedule. PSL director Babar Hamid said, “We are very happy to publish such a star-studded platinum list. We know we’re having a hard time. Cricketers are hard to come by because of Corona and the ICC’s future tour plans. Still, we look forward to another thrilling season. “
